Schlichter Bogard & Denton Brings Suit Against Four Universities on Behalf of Additional Retirement Plan Investors

Schlichter Bogard & Denton has brought class actions against four additional universities, Columbia, Cornell, Northwestern, and The University of Southern California, on behalf of thousands of participants in retirement plans sponsored by the universities.

Each suit alleges breaches of fiduciary duties that caused investors to pay millions of dollars in excessive fees. The suits further allege that the universities improperly included high-cost investment options in their plans, and charged improper fees for recordkeeping, administrative, and investment services.
