National Association of Plan Advisors Survey Identifies Excessive-Fee Litigation Pioneered by Schlichter Bogard & Denton and “Jerome Schlichter” as Two of the Five Most Impactful Trends/Events of 2016

A recent survey conducted by the National Association of Plan Advisors (“NAPA”) found that “Excessive Fee Litigation” pioneered by Schlichter Bogard & Denton and Schlichter Bogard & Denton managing partner “Jerome Schlichter” were the third and fourth most impactful trends/events of 2016 – ranked only behind the fiduciary rule and the increased regulatory focus on fees.

An article discussing the NAPA survey’s results credited Jerome Schlichter and Schlichter Bogard & Denton with having “brought the topic of excessive fee litigation to the forefront of fiduciary concerns.”
