Rachel concentrates her practice on representing individuals injured by dangerous pharmaceutical drugs, defective medical devices, and toxic chemicals. Rachel practices in both state and federal courts in consolidated and multidistrict litigations.
Rachel has been involved in a variety of high stakes cases against manufacturers of drugs, chemicals, cosmetics, and medical devices. She currently represents clients in several complex litigation cases, including Testosterone Replacement Therapy, Benicar, Bair Hugger, Just For Men, and Eliquis. Rachel has worked integrally on Discovery, Expert, De-Designation, and other committees for several multidistrict litigations involving defective drugs and products. Rachel currently serves on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the Eliquis Products Liability Litigation, a position appointed by The Honorable Denise Cote of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Before joining the firm, Rachel worked with Great Rivers Environmental Law Center and in Saint Louis University’s Legal Clinics, representing clients in civil litigation and appeals. She has argued before the Missouri Court of Appeals and has presented arguments before the Missouri Governor’s office. She has also served as a teaching assistant to students in Moot Court and Legal Research and Writing courses at Saint Louis University School of Law.
Rachel graduated with honors from Saint Louis University School of Law. She has been named the Student Woman of Distinction by the Ozark Alliance of Women and received a U.S. Presidential Service Award for her community service involvement.
